If you are 2 couples or a family of 4/5 people you can rent this luxury villa with private salt water swimming pool in a quite and panoramic location over the gentle hills of the Chianti region, the property is extremely comfortable and elegant.
At the Anna's Limonaia you can completely enjoy silence, privacy and romantic nature surrounded by jasmine and lemon trees in a luxury setting, Guests will enjoy the enchanting panorama which can be appreciated from large luminous windows stretching the whole length of the house, brightening the dining room, and double living room with a functional fire place.
A large patio of 100 sqm., completely done in stone, provides a peaceful area for relaxing, dining and cooling-off on summer evenings.
Here guests can lounge in comfortable big summer garden sofas while enjoying refreshment or a meal on crystal-topped wrought-iron tables.
Equally graceful are the beautiful interiors. Expertly interior designed and furnished with special attention to detail, by the present lady owner. Her skills have created a splendid welcoming abode, by combining antiques period with neoclassics, blended together with every modern comfort. It is also the ideal point of departure for visiting Florence (9kms) and its Renaissance wonders, or for a walk through any of the medieval hamlets of Chianti, where one can enjoy the exquisite specialties of ancient Tuscan cuisine, watered down with the most prestigious of wines.
The adjoining Chianti Classico area, with its numerous vineyards, historic town centers and lively markets, invite you to the Italian way of living with all its pleasures. There is a galore of sports opportunities, such as one of the most famous golf courses of Italy, Ugolino, just 15 minutes away from San Donato. San Donato is the local village for all your basic necessities, 1.5 Km's from the Anna's Limonaia. Also the most exclusive items in terms of fashion can be found nearby in the outlets of the major Italian fashion houses. And above the Limonaia begins a wonderful walking trail, through woodland and rural tracks, as far reaching as Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Sea side (45 min).
External Details
The house is surrounded by 10 ha of Chestnut woodland, Olive groves and landscaped gardens, with flowering shrubs, and lemon trees.
Attached at the front of the house there is a 100 sqm large roofed terrace, positioned to soak up the incredible view and perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
You should find the time for a totally relax, for this there is a clear blue sparkling salt water private swimming pool 4 x 8 m and a grass lawn sun bathing area, umbrellas and sun beds.
The Anna's Limonia sleeps maximum 4 + 1 people and Anna's sleeps maximum 7 people, both houses can welcome max. 12 people+2 people (junior suite), the owner can open it specially for you.
Interior Details
La Limonaia has 2 floors.
Ground Floor:
On the ground floor there is a very large living room with a gallery and a fitted glass fireplace with a stone fire surround, there are two small fitted kitchens one with a breakfast table, and a formal dining room also with an open fireplace.
First Floor:
On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms, each furnished with a king sized bed, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom, between the two bedrooms is a large shared dressing room. The Master Bedroom has a large King sized bed, a writing table.
Natural light floods into the room through two enormous windows in the roof, these windows can be opened automatically.
From the Master Bedroom there is a direct access to the en-suite bathroom with a shower, bidet, loo and wash hand basin, doors open into a walk in wardrobe with a separate shoe closet.
The second bedroom, is a junior suite, also furnished with a large King sized bed, and one single bed again with two large roof windows, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bidet, loo and wash hand basin. A door into a walk-in wardrobe. Each Bedroom has an independent stone stair case, and between each of the bedrooms is a shared dressing room, with extensive shelving and hanging space.
