Designed by architect Konstantinos Korakakis, the villa provides quality accommodation both inside and out, in a style sympathetic to its surroundings
The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are replicated outside around the inviting private swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace with sun beds and settees for lazy days in the sun and evenings under the stars.
The finishing touch is provided by the purpose built BBQ where the men can prove their culinary skills!

There is a double (king size) ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, ideal for older guests or those with disability, complete with grab handles and wide doors for wheelchair access.
The whole ground floor has been designed to facilitate older or disabled guests with ramps enabling access all round the ground floor inside and out.
Upstairs you will find another 2 double (king size) en suite bedrooms and 2 twins with house bathroom all with private balconies. The twin beds can be joined to make further king size beds - the villa will accommodate 11 assuming 1 is a baby in a cot, otherwise 10
And for all you sun worshippers and stargazers, there's the roof terrace
Air conditioning is provided in the lounge, dining room and all bedrooms
There is a cot and high chair; let us know if you need more than one
If you've had enough sunshine, the lounge has a music system (iPod, mp3, cd, radio) and a 42" tv with DVD player, Wii and Playstation3 (bring your own games!)

The history of Crete revolves around the ancient Minoan civilization with numerous sites of antiquity to visit, particularly the Palace of Knossos
The Makrigialos / Bayview Resort area
The Makry-Gialos area is ideally located in the south-east of Crete to enjoy the benefits of both a relaxing beach holiday, and as a base for exploring eastern Crete. It has the best beaches in south-east Crete, including two blue flag beaches, and enjoys the superior North African influenced climate.
Road access is good, allowing day trips that range from Toplou Monastery in the far north-east, the palatial ruins of Minoan Kato Zakros on the east coast, the Venetian fort and subsequent leper colony of Spinalonga to the north-west, and the Lasithi plateau to the west. Even a day trip to Knossos is achievable.
Closer to base, the area is rich with stunning mountain scenery, uncrowded beaches and coves, historical sites, and traditional Cretan culture.
