Villa Jan Thiel is a beautiful en luxurious tropical villa, situated on a hill in the Brakkeput area, one of the better areas on Curacao. The villa has wonderful views over the Spanish Waters, the Caracasbaai and over the open sea. Villa Jan Thiel offers a lot of privacy and you will also love lingering in its tropical garden or taking a dive in the private pool. The large covered veranda offers a great place to eat and drink or just to relax on the comfortable lounge on which you could easily take an afternoon nap.
The villa features 3 bedrooms, with completely new spring-box beds and air-conditioning in each room. The masterbedroom has a walk-in closet and an ensuite luxury bathroom, complete with a large bathtub. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom which is also accommodated with all luxury amenities.
There is a large fully equipped kitchen, which includes items like a ceramic cooker, a large american fridge, a dishwasher and an oven. Everything you need in a kitchen is available here. Your goal is probably to eat as many dinners, lunches, and breakfasts out in the open, so you can enjoy the wonderful weather and the beautiful views. For this reason Villa Jan Thiel has a large table, which can seat up to 8 persons, with comfortable chairs on the terrace outside.
There is also a spacious living room where you can enjoy watching TV (cable television is available), playing dvd's, or listening to music. The villa also offers wireless internet.
There are numerous 220V sockets for all your electronic equipment.
Villa Jan Thiel is a real tropical home with hardwood floors and shutters so there is a constant cool breeze throughout the villa. The veranda which leads to the swimming pool can be closed off by a rolling gate, making the pool inaccessible to small children, thus creating a safe environment.
The villa is ideally located, with beaches like Caracasbaai, Baya Beach and Jan Thiel Beach at a close distance. Even Sea Aquarium Beach with its famous Mambo Beach, Wet'n Wild, Cabana and Hemmingway are just a 10 minute drive away. Supermarkets and restaurants like de Kleine Wereld and Brakkeput Mei Mei, and at Jan Thiel Beach you will find Zanzibar, Tinto, and the newly built Zest and Papagayo Beach Club with some shopping possibilities and a casino are all just minutes away. You can drive to the city center, Punda and Otrabanda in just 15 minutes.
